These databases are provided on a monthly/annual subscription rate.
Local Number Portability for U.S. & Canada
GCS has a partnership with the market-leading communications data provider, Neustar.
Through our partnership we have real-time access to the NPAC (the database that houses all of the phone numbers and their current local routing number).
GCS ICP solution can incorporate this data into the real-time routing determination to optimize the routing on a call-by-call basis. This is necessary for any voice service provider that wants to offer services in the U.S. and optimize the routing and cost of those calls.
Through our partnership with iConectiv, GCS can provide access to its LCADs database. LCADs (Local Calling Area Data Source) is the database containing local calling area information for areas within the U.S. & Canada.
The LCADs database contains business and residential local calling area plans for local service providers.

International Mobile Portability
Our partnership with iConnective enables access to the Mobil Number Portability within many countries.
Similar to the U.S. Domestic LNP database, Mobile Number Portability databases are where international countries house their phone numbers and the ported status and local routing number for each phone number within that country.
Companies that provide voice services in, into, or out of those countries may want to have access to these data services to improve the routing and cost management of those calls.
8XX Routing Data Service
In 2021, GCS entered into a distribution agreement with SOMOS, the market leading source for toll-free routing data. Through this partnership, GCS can provide access to specific routing information for each 8XX number including CIC owner and RESPORG owner.
By incorporating this information into the GCS ICP solution, GCS can help voice service providers increase inter-carrier comp for off-net toll-free calls that originate on their network or are passed to them through other carrier partners.
Do Not Originate Database
Through our partnership with SOMOS, GCS can provide real-time access to the SOMOS Real Number Do Not Originate (DNO) database. It’s a valuable tool that helps identify fraudulent spoofing of businesses toll-free numbers.
GCS has incorporated this into its real-time routing engine so that these calls can be blocked before being processed by a carriers network.
