Interconnect Command Platform
The platform every call runs through. ICP-Route decides where each call goes and ICP-Rate rates, bills and settles it, on one set of data from vendor rate sheet to invoice.
Learn more about ICPGlobal Convergence Solutions is a New Jersey software company, founded in 2006 by engineers who have worked together for more than 25 years and still think like the carriers they build for.
It began at ITXC, the first wholesale carrier to deliver voice over the public internet. As its engineering, software development and operations teams, they built the tools that made it possible to manage, deploy and scale that network, and grew ITXC into one of the largest wholesale carriers in the world.
At InfiniRoute they built a carrier network and software platform from the ground up again. InfiniRoute's customers included AT&T, Sprint, Telefonica and Orange, which used it for their white-label VoIP interconnect.
In 2006 they founded GCS to give carriers the ability to operate and scale their voice interconnect businesses profitably through automation. From day one they built the software from scratch, including the industry's first Dynamic SIP Routing Engine. Jay Meranchik, who built one of the world's largest VoIP wholesale networks at ITXC and led its operations, NOC and support engineering teams, co-founded the company and leads it as President and CEO.
The first wholesale carrier to deliver voice over the public internet. It grew into one of the largest wholesale carriers in the world and was later acquired by Teleglobe, then VSNL / TATA.
The team built InfiniRoute's carrier network and platform, which powered white-label VoIP interconnect for InfiniRoute customers including AT&T, Sprint, Telefonica and Orange.
A New Jersey software company focused on one market: the global inter-carrier voice business.
EZ-LCR, the first GCS commercial software product and the start of today's Interconnect Command Platform, is released.
U.S. patent issued for a "system and method for dynamic call routing". The same year, GCS and Sonus Networks worked together on a hosted solution around the Sonus SBC.
Agreements with Neustar and iconectiv bring LNP data for the USA and Canada, LCADs and international MNP into the routing engine.
The complete GCS suite, hosted and priced to grow with the traffic it carries.
The Interconnect Rate Administration Service moves vendor rate decks from spreadsheet work to automated ingestion by email. The same year ICP passes 500 billion minutes processed.
Do Not Originate (DNO) and 8XX routing data from Somos join the Neustar and iconectiv data inside the routing engine.
GCS launches the SIP Inter-Connect Manager, its SBC Lite.
GCS launches iRAS for product, pricing and swap management.
GCS launches NOC AI Agents for the Interconnect Command Platform.
From pure-play wholesalers to national carriers: retail and wholesale, domestic U.S. and international, cable, conferencing and mobile operators.
Named customers
...and more than 50 other carriers of every size
The experience behind GCS was earned on the carrier side: installing servers, running the NOC, working Tier II and Tier III engineering, managing interconnect voice businesses.
That is why the software handles quality, metrics and dashboards the way a carrier's own team would. GCS is focused on interconnect voice, and the people who design the platform are the people you speak to when you call.
A small, senior team with decades in interconnect voice operations.
"Our team is comprised of industry veterans with expertise in networking and interconnect voice operations. We like to say interconnect voice is in our DNA."
Brian Kirby, Director of Support Engineering
